As a part of an active participant you will receive:

3 individual lessons (50 minutes each) with Professor Florian Richter

Chamber music rehearsals and performance opportunities with Professors Erik Schumann, Florian Richter, and Alexey Stadler

Participation in the Participants’ Concerts

Active participation fee: 26,000 Thai baht

Scholarships for Thai Active Participants

Provided by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kingdom of Thailand and The Royal Thai Embassy Berlin, The Scholarships are intended for talented students who want to improve their skills and discover new paths through participation in this masterclass, but their economic situation makes it difficult for them.

How to Apply

To apply for the scholarship, please send these mandatory appendices along with your application for the masterclass:

  • Description of your specific financial situation in Thai or English
  • Recommendation letter in Thai or English

The decision to grant a scholarship is based on the judgment of Professor Florian Richter and The Royal Thai Embassy Berlin.

Guest Auditor

Purchase of day tickets at the masterclass’s venue for the price of 200 THB per ticket.
Admission is free of charge for students and undergraduate university students.
The fee is non-refundable.

Florian Richter

Florian Richter received his first violin lessons from Prof. Klaus Hertel at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Academy of Music and Theatre in Leipzig. 

In 2000, he switched to the viola and in 2001 to the ‘Schloss Belvedere’ Music High School in Weimar in the class of Prof Erich Krüger.

From 2004 to 2014, the multiple national prizewinner at ‘Jugend musiziert’ studied at the Franz Liszt University of Music Weimar with Prof. Ditte Leser/Prof. Erich Krüger and completed his training with a concert exam.

He also received important musical impulses in masterclasses with Prof Alfred Lipka, Prof Dietmar Hallmann, Prof Hartmut Rohde, Prof Martin Spangenberg and Prof Norbert Brainin, among others.

Florian Richter was a scholarship holder of the Hans and Eugenia Jütting Foundation, the German Foundation for Musical Life and the Carl Flesch Academy.

As a soloist, he has performed under the direction of Johannes Klumpp, Helmuth Rilling, Stefan Solyom, Michael Sanderling, Marek Janowski and Sir Antonio Pappano, among others.

In January 2020, Florian Richter made his solo debut with the ‘Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden’ under the direction of Bruno Weil.

During the ‘Richard Strauss Days’ at the Semperoper Dresden, Florian Richter played the solo part of Sancho Panza in the symphonic poem ‘Don Quixote’ by Richard Strauss under the direction of Sir Antonio Pappano, Norbert Anger (violoncello) and the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden.

From 2010 to 2012, Florian Richter was principal viola of the Staatskapelle Weimar and held the same position with the Staatsorchester Stuttgart from 2012 to 2017.

From 2010 to 2017, he was also involved in teaching young viola players at the Schloss Belvedere music high school in Weimar. 

Florian Richter then accepted a position as professor of viola at the Nuremberg University of Music from 2017 to 2024.

Florian Richter has been principal viola of the ‘Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden’ since August 2017. In April 2024, he was appointed Professor of Viola at the Franz Liszt School of Music in Weimar.


Rasikamon Siyapong 

One of the most sought-after collaborative pianists and chamber musicians in Thailand, Rasikamon Siyapong has performed extensively with vocalists and instrumentalists throughout Europe and Asia. As a pedagogue, she rejoined the faculty of Mahidol University in 2019 and also serves as a collaborative pianist. A regular performer of many festivals and competitions, she has performed on stages in the 4th Jean-Marie Londeix competition, 4th and 6th Beethoven Competition for String Instruments in Bangkok, Summer Festival for String Instruments and Chamber Music in Pelion and Asia Pacific Saxophone Academy. She has also collaborated with leading international vocalists and gave concerts in various European cities such as Munich, Graz, Vienna, Salzburg, Myslenice, Athens, Maribor and Lovran. Her performance with soprano, Tung Lee was broadcasted through program “Das Ö1 Konzert” in Austrian Radio in 2018.      

No stranger in the field of modern music, Rasikamon performs frequently in Thailand International Composition Festival. She is a member of Contemporary Enclave, a Bangkok-based ensemble that aims to advocate contemporary music. She also appeared in „ Kaleidoskopder Zukunft in Wort und Ton“ in Badausseer Gespräche in 2018.   

In 2014, she graduated from College of Music, Mahidol University majored piano performance with a first-class honor. She was a recipient of a scholarship within a framework of ASEA-Uninet and partaking her studies at Mozarteum University as an exchange student in 2014. In Summer 2019, she completed her Master Degree in vocal-accompaniment in University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria under the tutelage of Ao. Univ. Prof. Mag. art. Stacey Bartsch and Julius Drake. During her study in Graz, she was appointed as “Studentische Mitarbeiterin” and played in a class of Prof. Univ.Prof. Mag.art. Dr.phil. Ulf Bästlein.
