In 2025, we commemorated the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, a pivotal moment in history that not only reshaped nations but also silenced countless voices in the world of music. Among the most affected were Jewish composers whose works were lost, destroyed, or forgotten in the wake of the war. Despite the passage of decades, many of these compositions remain largely unknown.
In Collaboration with Goethe-Institut Thailand, Silence(d) was born out of a desire to resurrect this forgotten music, giving life to the once-muted sounds that was once labelled as Entartete Musik or Degenerate Music and introducing these remarkable composers to a new generation of listeners.
