A sun with a calm sleeping face fills the left half, rays cut long and short around it, the disc drawn with fine lines. A gold crescent locks into it from the right, also faced, eyes shut, cheek turned toward the sun. The background is deep purple, swirled like brushed cloud and dotted with violet orbs and eight point stars. The gold is printed, not gilded: flat ink on clear glass, with the faceted rim doing the sparkling.
