The figure features a raised trunk and a rich oxblood red glaze with characteristic black shading to the ears, feet, tail and trunk tip. The Flamb glaze pools beautifully across the body, creating depth and tonal variation typical of Royal Doultons early 20th century production. The underside bears the Royal Doulton backstamp with the lion and crown mark and Flamb
