This model is known as Gnome Library. They are made of painted cast iron, but I believe that the gnomes are made of spelter the gnomes do not attract a magnet while the rest of the bookend does. These are marked with the B&H mark. Each measures 5 in height, 6 in width and 3 3 8 in depth one weighs a little over 4 lbs
